Ken Snider, MD, is a welcome addition as one of our new OB/GYNs. A graduate of Universidad Autonoma de Guadelajara and New York Medical College, he completed his residency at the Texas Tech Health Science Center in Odessa, Texas, and has most recently been working as an OB/GYN in Colorado. Dr. Snider is fluent in Spanish and speaks conversational German and Italian.

Before becoming a physician, Dr. Snider enjoyed a successful career in bioengineering. In his free time he served as an EMT and volunteered at Mission Bay Hospital in San Diego--experiences that convinced him to change career paths and go to medical school. He continued volunteering while attending medical school, traveling to the Red Cross Hospital outside of Guadalajara, Mexico on the weekends and found himself doing everything from sewing up wounds from bar fights to delivering babies.

Dr. Snider and his wife, Andrea, recently welcome their first child--a girl--and are enjoying this new adventure.
