Data Advantage, LLC used the latest publicly available information to compare our hospital with 4,500 other acute-care hospitals in the nation. Walla Walla General Hospital ranked in the top tier of all hospitals and achieved high honors for quality, affordability and efficiency, and patient satisfaction.

I believe that several factors have helped the hospital achieve this level of success:

• A Culture of Caring and Sacred Work. Our physicians, leadership team, and staff are strongly committed to the principles of sacred work, making the wellbeing of every patient our highest priority.
  
  
• A Culture of Philanthropy. Generous partners contributed more than $308,000 in 2008 to strengthen the hospital and enable it to set the pace in high-quality care and consumer value in our area. Of the total contributions, more than $50,000 came from employees and physicians.
  
  
• God's Blessing. The Lord is blessing these commitments that help fulfill the hospital’s healing mission.
