Patient Satisfaction

Our pledge is to make each patient’s health care experience a positive one, regardless of the reasons for the visit. Our physicians and nurses do more than take care of medical needs. Along with the entire health care team, they teach, comfort, and explain what patient and families need to know about their care.

In an effort to capture our patients' perceptions of our entire range of care, we participate in a standardized survey developed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The survey--The Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Hospital Survey ( or HCAHPS, as we call it)--asks patients to rate their experiences of overall care and whether they would recommend Walla Walla General Hospital to their family and friends.
