Volunteers from the hospital and community will provide care at the Adventist Health International Hospital in Port au Prince
WALLA WALLA, Wash.--A volunteer team of Walla Walla General Hospital physicians and medical professionals will travel to Haiti to provide medical services and relief in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that struck the nation.
The team from Walla Walla, coordinated by WWGH physician John B. Hoehn, MD, will join volunteers from other communities working with staff of the Adventist Health International hospital in Port au Prince--Hospitale Adventiste--between April 9 and 23, 2010.
Currently the team includes Donald Ashley, MD; Shirley Ashley, MD; Dustie Cretsinger, Radiographer; Jeremy Evans, LPN; Cory Ongers, RN; John Hoehn, MD; Ted Hoehn, MD; Joseph Wujek, MD.
The wish list for volunteers at this time includes Surgical RNs, Lab Tech, Physical Therapist, Prosthetist, Wound Care Specialist, Central Supply, Engineers, General Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, Anesthetists and Orthopedic Surgeons.
